It’s happening, slowly but surely! We are building up the educational content all you interweb folks may need to get started fishing. We’ll be sharing the basics from multiple perspectives: learn from more than one person how they choose a fly, see how others catch fish (or miss the hookset) and know you are so welcome to join the fun. In fact, you belong out here, learning in a messy way and creating a safer, open, and thoughtful riverbank for yourself and community.
We’re adding more every week, and plan to take a bunch of videos in person at the upcoming Maine Outcast Campout to fill in the gaps of how to tie on a fly, how to set up a nymph rig, basics on casting, fishing for toothy fish….SO much more.
Want to be a part of building our educational resource library? Share YOUR experience! We want to see how you get out on the water, tie a fly, read a river, or net a fish. Be in touch to be a part of this wild and imperfect but fun project: us@confluencecollective.org
