Shop FAQs

  • Confluence Collective participates in sliding scale pricing models for community events and product offerings. We encourage community to self-select the tier that best fits their level of financial stability and privilege; please refer to the Green Bottle sliding scale by Alexis J. Cunningfolk for guidance on how to identify the rate for you, and look for the Additional Information listed on each product and event offering. The left hand bottle corresponds to the “Take My Money” rates on our experiences and products. The “Base Rate” is set to cover actual costs, including administrative time. A “Subsidized Rate” is also offered, relying on community subsidies from the “Take My Money” rate — allowing for anonymous support to ensure access by and for community. If this feels like the right price for you, we encourage you to select it.

Subsidized rates and spots are planned into every program, supported by folks with access to more resources who identify higher on the sliding scale. Subsidized products are also planned into every product drop.

Being financially accessible is a core part of our mission. If you are unable to pay at any of the rates we have listed, please reach out. We will either work out a payment plan and/or provide a code to offset whatever you need: us@confluencecollective.org

  • Because we’re running on a basic Squarespace website model and don’t have the fanciest features, we have a variety of shipping options for product purchases pre-filled. Most products should have recommended shipping options in a drop down at check-out.

Some products will have “in person pick-up” as an option if they are related to an event or experience we are supporting. Please only select this option if you plan to attend the related event or are in direct communication with the Confluence team to coordinate a pick-up.

Stickers are the only orders that can use the $2 sticker shipping option. A t-shirt costs more than $2 to ship. Please only select this option when you are ordering something that can fit in a standard card envelope.

  • We are growing our product offerings in an emergent way, which is to say: selling stuff isn’t our biggest focus — community experiences are, and they take a lot of time and energy to support. With that said, we know tools and resources can help address access issues, and the right accessory can help you feel like your truest self on the water.

If you are interested in selling product in our online marketplace, we’d love to hear more: us@confluencecollective.org

Not sure if your stuff fits in? Here are some priorities we have around product offerings: supporting and empowering marginalized people and causes particularly those who identify as LGBTQIA2S+ BIPoC and neurodivergent, products that disrupt exclusive culture, products that empower disabled anglers, sustainable and regenerative products, and probably a lot of stuff we just haven’t seen yet. The best way to figure out what works is to talk with us!

  • We love collaborating with community when it aligns with mission and priorities listed in the question above. We frequently partner with other community and social groups to create custom outdoor experiences, and love finding new tools or accessory options that can further our mission and empower our community.

Please be in touch to discuss further: us@confluencecollective.org

Ensuring the water is an accessible and inclusive space requires us to think about the tools we have access to, and how they limit or expand our experiences.

Confluence Collective product collaborations are unique, creative offerings brought to life with makers + artisans around the country. We prioritize affordable, sustainable, quality goods that will outlast you on the riverbank. From small accessories for a personality pop to technical mainstays, get to know our collection of things made possible through community effort.

We are still in the process of growing our marketplace! Stay tuned for a growing offering of products as collaborations grow.

Information on the various initiatives and projects your purchase supports is listed in each product description.
